Limerino 1.0.5 — One sign-in for everything
What’s new in 1.0.5
One sign-in now covers everything: chat and the video player share the same Twitch session, so signing in once keeps you signed in everywhere.
Chat got a quality pass — moderator badges always show (with a clear text stand-in while artwork loads), usernames keep their correct colors, and text spacing scales properly with your message-size setting. Chat also reconnects promptly after network blips instead of stalling.
Reporting a bug or suggesting a feature from Settings is simpler, and Settings itself is cleaner throughout.
In more detail
One sign-in journey. Signing in now happens in one visible flow on Twitch’s own approval page, and that single session covers both chat and the video player. The app no longer presents a player login sheet on its own at launch — connecting Twitch playback is an explicit control you tap when you want it.
Chat quality pass. Moderator badges always render, with a clear text stand-in while Twitch’s badge artwork is still loading. Username colors stay correct, word spacing and the username separator scale properly across text-size settings, and the composer placeholder no longer renders oversized at large text sizes. Chat also reconnects promptly after network blips instead of stalling.
Simpler support flow. Bug reports and feature suggestions share one submission path from Settings, with a diagnostics preview before anything is sent. Diagnostics default on for bug reports and off for suggestions, and what happens with a submission is stated plainly at the point of sending. The privacy policy was rewritten to match.
Settings polish. Section footers appear only while their section is expanded, and the Contact row reliably opens the developer’s profile.
