Limerino 1.0.6 — Mention alerts and a smoother chat engine

Mention alerts: get a push notification when someone @mentions you in chat, even while Limerino is closed. Scope alerts to channels you follow or all of Twitch, mute individual channels, set quiet hours, sender cooldowns, and digest delivery — all under Settings > Notifications. Your mention history lives in the new Mention Vault.

Smoother chat: the chat list was rebuilt on a new rendering engine tuned for the busiest channels — pinned chat follows new messages in clean steps with no jumps or drift, your reading position holds exactly while you scroll back, and ProMotion iPhones now render chat at up to 120Hz.

Also in 1.0.6:

• Live chat connects faster after a cold launch.
• New notification controls: whisper alerts, highlight alerts, and per-rule notify/sound settings.
• Message notifications no longer duplicate your own sent messages.

Scope them to channels you follow or all of Twitch, mute individual channels, set quiet hours and per-sender cooldowns, or switch to digest delivery. Every alert lands in the Mention Vault, the app icon badge tracks unread mentions and clears when you open the Vault, and people you block on Twitch never trigger an alert.

The chat engine rebuild. The message list was rebuilt from the ground up for busy chats: pinned-to-newest advances in clean steps instead of drifting, your scrollback position holds exactly while you read history, single messages fade in without a visible seam on quiet channels, and ProMotion iPhones render chat at up to 120Hz.

Connection hardening. A signed-in cold launch dials Twitch with your stored credentials on the first connection, so live chat appears sooner. Reconnects pace themselves on drop-prone networks instead of churning, chat backfills messages missed during a real outage — including outages while the app was backgrounded — in the right order, and moderator-deleted messages show correctly after a reconnect.

Notification controls. Whisper alerts and highlight alerts joined mention alerts, each highlight rule can set its own notify and sound behavior, and your own sent messages no longer come back at you as notifications.

Accessibility. VoiceOver users get Pause auto-scroll and Jump to newest in the Actions rotor on chat rows, and mention announcements fire only on genuine arrivals.

Smaller things that add up:

• Channel switcher filters: Open, Favorites, Followed, and Live.
• Followed, Live, and Open browse lists show their full lists rather than stopping at 20 entries.
• A stranded empty band between the last message and the composer heals itself without moving your reading position.
• Offline stream titles hide themselves and stay dismissed per channel until the title actually changes.
• Every setting was audited end to end: each one saves on change, survives relaunch, and round-trips through Settings backup export and import.
• A one-time prompt offers the App Store update when a newer version is available.
