Limerino Beta — TestFlight build notes

Current beta: 1.0.8 build 253 · Updated

About the beta

These are the notes for Limerino’s TestFlight beta builds — what’s new and what got fixed before it reaches everyone in a public App Store release. When a version ships to the store, its final notes appear on the Releases page.

Build 253

A Videos button in the top bar. A channel’s past broadcasts and clips are now two taps away: a play button sits in the chat header whenever there’s room for it. On narrow layouts — smaller phones, Display Zoom, busy moderator rows — the button steps aside before the channel name would get squeezed, and the channel pill’s long-press menu still opens Channel videos everywhere.

Tapping a video actually plays it now. An earlier beta broke the browse list’s row taps — tapping a past broadcast or clip silently did nothing. The player now opens right over the list, and closing it puts you back where you left off.

Open in browser, fixed the same way. The player’s Open-in-browser action now opens Safari over the player. Playback pauses while Safari is up and resumes when you close it — and if you’d paused the video yourself first, it stays paused.

One audio source, always. Leaving the app and coming back with the player open no longer restarts the live stream’s audio underneath it, and nothing plays behind Safari until you close it.

Chat knows when it’s covered. While you browse videos, animated emotes pause their render clock, and a mention that arrives alerts you like it does when you’re elsewhere — instead of firing invisibly behind the sheet.
